Business: A seat configuration of 2v2, seat recline is provided in Business domestic class. The first 3 rows of the cabin are exclusively reserved for business class cabins and passengers have direct aisle access.
Economy: All rows except for the first 3 in domestic aircraft is open for economy class. Passengers can prebook their choice of seats at the time of booking and the seat size is 79 cm in width and is in a 3v3 formation.
International travel is primarily operated on Airbus A380s, A330-300s, and Boeing 787s. The configuration in the international haul is of 4 types: First, Business, Premium Economy, and Economy.
First Class: It is exclusively provided on the Airbus A380 with a 1v1v1 layout, seats fully reclined, and a rotation option for sleep and dining. Each seat suite is provided with 17 inches widescreen touch monitor offering entertainment such as the latest tv shows and movies, games, and live tv. Passengers have access to pre and post-flight business lounges along with priority check-in and boarding.
Business: It is the same as a first-class cabin but fewer amenities. The seat configuration is 1-2-1 and has a bed attached to seats for long-haul travel. The media and entertainment system consists of Panasonic eX3 system offering premium quality entertainment.
Premium Economy: Airbus A380 and Boeing 787-9 aircraft provide service of the premium economy cabin. The seat configuration is 2-3-2 with a width of 50cm for each seat. It does not provide access to premium lounge facilities and didn’t offer upgraded dining.
Economy: This class of cabin is available on all Qantas aircraft and seat configuration is usually 3-4-3, 2-4-2, and 3-4-3 subject to different aircraft. In-between cabins, travelers can enjoy the self-service snack bars.
Web Check-in: Passengers can directly check in to the airline's websites 24 hours before their departure time. Enter your confirmation number along with your first and last name on the website check-in menu and find your flight itinerary. On log-in, you will be able to see your seat and can change it depending on the availability of the seat.
Mobile App: Qantas Airlines has one of the best mobile apps for booking. Download the app from the play store/Appstore, check-in as a guest, or register 24 hours before the flight departure. Download your boarding pass on your phone/tablet.
Airport Kiosk: Major Airports have installed Kiosk systems at their premises where guests can check-in all by themselves by simply entering a ticket confirmation number. Onwards, the guest can print their boarding pass and luggage tag
